I'm planning on taking a trip to America in the next few years and I was wondering what other sort of things are different compared to Australians .. Also im just interested in the differences in language .. I'll list what I know and if you can add please do so =D

something that confused me (an American) in New Zealand was "how ya going?" We either say, "how are you doing?" or "Where are you going?". "How are you going" is like asking "how are you getting there? Car? helicopter?"

so How you going? = How you doing?
