Please help! I've looked everywhere for some sort of answer and haven't found anything.

Energy can be transformed from one form to another,
but goes to entropy (heat) in the end.
Each meal (stores chemical energy), each smile (uses chemical energy),
each foot race ... (chemical energy turned to mechanical energy)
all these create heat and uses up "useful" energy,
gold straws may be a reference to the sun, which formed from interstellar -dust, and is the ultimate source of energy for us.
There is a lot of wasted sunlight that could be turned harvested?
All motion requires energy,
both these examples show how energy ultimately ends up as heat (the -tide crashes against rocks, which rub and create heat, and light bulbs -turn electric potential energy into light and heat)
