Local parish says no Italian Street Festival in Indianapolis this year (indystar)

I was sad to hear that a local tradition, the Holy Rosary parish's annual
Italian Street Festival won't take place this year. I hope the parish can find
someone to run the event. It's been one of the city best food fests for years.
Here's an excerpt from Father Michael Magiera's message in a recent church
bulletin: "…Holy Rosary, as we all know, is a bastion of tradition. We have
many traditions here, especially one which is practically universally known. I
refer, of course, to the annual Italian Street Festival. Well, unfortunately,
Holy Rosary will have to break with tradition – at least for this coming
summer. Our David Page, who for 29 years heroically ran that gargantuan
festival, called me a few weeks ago and said he’s just not up to running the
festival any more. Like each and every one of us, he is not getting any
younger. To have run the festival for that long – one year from a hospital bed
– is a monumental feat, able to be done by a very gifted and dedicated few.
