Where can I find a replacement Leather Handle like this...?

I found this old Weston Model Voltmeter that has it's leather handle broken off.

I'm hoping to give it as a gift to a family member that is an electrician.

There are screws that I can hopefully undo. Does anyone have any tips on how to unscrew rusted or old screws?

The leather has wide ends that are secured by the brackets at the top. It kind of looks like a mushroom on either end.

Please keep in mind that the Voltmeter is rather heavy, which is why the original handle probable broke off.
