i know your all giving me really nice ideas but my hair is short you can not tie it up and my uniform isnt able to be tailored
First off, get everything tailored so it fits you perfectly. People always look amazing in tailored clothing, and judging by what one often sees on the street these days, properly fitting clothing is very unique. If you can, go find blazers, cardigans, and other such things that you can wear to school. See what layers you can add on, and keep in mind subtle things may not be noticeable enough to get you in trouble. Find skirts and trousers that fit the dress code, and buy your favorite cut. Skinny, boot-cut, straight leg, flare, whatever strikes your fancy. Same with skirts, and you can always get these tailored as well.
Accessories! See what you're allowed to wear, hair ribbons, pins, clips, punk pins, scarves, ties, and so on. Whatever fits your style. Bangles, chains, pearl strings, silver or gold, the list goes on and on. So, just go out and find things that define your style.
And have fun with your hairdo, half-ups, ponytails, high, low, off to one side or the other, and so on. Or just curl or straighten it, according to your taste. Same with makeup, but as I recall schools tend to have policies on makeup and hair color. But that doesn't mean you can't have some fun!
