outfit for pre wedding drinks?

the night before our wedding we have pre wedding drinks-
my two options are:
1. hot pink body con style bandage dress with white thigh high platform boots (i dont want to shave my legs until the wedding day so hopefully the boots will cover). i thought also a gold/taupe velvet belt (waisted)
2. red satin mini dress with hot green bolero jacket with lace trim (in purple) with gold flat slingbacks
thoughts? i am a size 18-22 and want to look tasteful for my fiances family as i am meeting them for the first time as the live overseas

Have you actually tried these outfits on and seen how you look in them?Because honestly,neither one sounds good.I am not meaning in no way of cutting you down because of your size,but because of your size i can't imagine either outfit looking tasteful on you.I am a bww and so is my daughter.I just think you should consider something more apporiate for your size.Good luck and hope you have a great day.
