I have a guitar made by Agustin Sanabria in Paraguay. It is a Spanish/ Classical guitar. Anyone any info ?

The guitar is very light and is full sized. Generally it is well made but carving on the headstock is crude in places. The machine heads have unusual shell shaped keys. They are made by Menarguez. The label suggests the maker won a prize in 1974 Expopar 74. Not too sure what the woods are but it is very light and dry. It plays beautifully.Are these guitars of any value?

Guitar makers and vendors are everywhere in Paraguay, at least outside the Chaco. It's a traditional product of the country, and even though it may well be a special guitar, it is more likely that you simply have a good, proper, Paraguayan guitar on your hands. Nothing to trade for a Jaguar XJ12 I guess, but certainly worth having.
