Do you think he likes me? I'll answer your question?

Okay, there's a guy who I really like at school. I'm 15 and he's either 16 or 17. I'm not really sure since I don't know him, but I'm wondering if he does have interest in me.
Once, I looked at him and he turned his head a little to look at me. Once he saw I was looking at him he quickly turned his head away... but then he slowly turned it back towards me. It was so awkward, so I instantly looked ahead and kept walking.
But then on some days, he ignores me. He's the shy type of guy, and he always walks around with kinda slouchy shoulders and looks nervous. Maybe its just me I don't know.
Today, he looked at me 2-3 times when I was around. He never has a facial expression... he hardly ever smiles with anybody. So he had a blank face pretty much. The glances probably lasted for 4 seconds...
So, to sum it up, he's basically a shy guy who hardly talks/looks to anyone but he has been looking at me like this a few times... do you think he likes me? :O

I don't know to what extent but interest is definitely there! With shy guys, even though you should be assertive, you shouldn't be too direct to scare him off. Just start smiling and saying hi and slowly start having conversations with him. Shy people need to know that other people aren't threatening and by taking the first step, you are establishing a comfortable setting in which you can get to know each other.
