I love love love Walgreen's. When I'm having a bad day at work, a quick trip
around the block to the Walgreen's makeup department always cheers me up. It's
also my #1 pick for a sugar high. (I can always count on Walgreen's to carry
Papas eggs at Easter time.) I picked up these sunglasses (along with a bottle
of bright coral Essie polish and Lemon Head almonds), when we stopped at a
Walgreen's for Beefy's photo prints.

how do i get stains off leather?

i just got a nine west crossbody purse and it got black from my shirt. it was the first time i used it so im wondering if theres any way to get the color off.

You have what is known as dye transfer. Some dyes are very strong and they have redyed the leather.

Most over the counter leather cleaners will not be strong enough to deal with this - the longer the dye remains on the surface of the leather the further it will move into the finishes on the leather and once this has happened it becomes more difficult to get out.
Using solvents etc may be needed but these will damage the finish on the leather and these processes are best left to a qualified technician who will be able to recolour/refinish as necessary.
(do not try solvents or DIY colouring kits yourself as these generally do not work)

Using a leather protector is always a good idea on leather and particularly on pale colours that suffer from these type of problems and should have been recommended by the shop.

Using household products such as WD40, hairspray, bleach, rubbing alcohol, baby wipes, solvents etc should be avoided as there is no guarantee that they will not do more damage which will then be much more costly to fix.
